Hugo Barona is one of the community leads of Cloud Lunch and Learn, helping this initiative to enable everyone to learn about the Cloud, while enjoying their lunch or break. The initiative has been going great, connecting people all over the globe to attend sessions, to collaborate and deliver sessions, and helping to buildits ecosystem. Since its start, back in May, It counts with 10+ sessions, with a great team of community leaders and well-established channels to promote its content and sessions. Community

Hugo takes and enjoys every chance he has to connect with the community. He was one of the organizers of the Global Azure Virtual UK & Ireland 2020 event, helping the team to deliver 60+ sessions related to Azure. He has been delivering in-person and virtual tech talks in the last years in local communities and online. His last talk was for the Global Azure Virtual, where he talks about how we can leverage Automated Machine Learning to develop Machine Learning solutions. Hugo has been an organizer of a local meetup group in Dublin .Net Mafia, C# Mobsters and other Microsoft family, that hosts sessions relate to Azure, and counts with 450+ people and 10+ in-person events last year. Also, he became one of the organizers of the biggest local meetup group in Ireland, related to Azure Azure Dublin Meetup, which counts with 2500+ members and actively hosts sessions every week. Other amazing stuff

Hugo has been mentoring some people in the last years, helping them to prepare for the change in their professional careers and move into IT. Hugo has been contributing to the community by providing support and guidance to questions and issues raised on the different communities, including Stackoverflow and Microsoft Tech Community.

Also, he is actively providing feedback to the different Microsoft teams about their products and services, including the Microsoft documentation team and the Azure teams, using their Github repositories.
